Avalon is a small simulated environment being run by merlin. Avalon serves as a communication medium rather than the generally assumed role-playing theme associated with Mud's in general. Avalon is run under version 1.8.1 of the LambdaMOO server code, using an appreciably modified version of the LambdaMOO core database; with enhancements including a database-integrated WWW server, inbound internet email support, and many enhancements contained within the environment itself.
